At Brand Control Rooms, we understand that the design and functionality of your control room are crucial to the efficiency and safety of your organisation. A well-designed, ergonomic working environment promotes sustainable working relationships and job satisfaction.
With our specialised consultancy services, we focus on optimising both existing and new control rooms, minimising potential risks in the realisation and management phase. To this end, we use our CONPRO method to work purposefully. This method guarantees a risk management innovation through intensive cooperation with all stakeholders - from operators to management.
Starting with a detailed needs analysis, followed by our SIMO model for observations and interviews, we ensure a seamless integration of collaboration, equipment and working environment. Our customised designs meet ergonomic standards and are enhanced by advanced AV solutions and virtual reality for an optimal spatial experience. Our consultants are focused on defining a future-proof vision for you that will last at least 10-15 years. Using the CONPRO method, we achieve process optimisations, user satisfaction and efficient realisation of your project without unexpected costs. Find out how we can lead your control room project to success.
The CONPRO method is run through group sessions with your stakeholders and is coordinated by our team consisting of a Senior Human Factors Consultant, Senior Solution Architect and a Senior Project Manager.

Part of the CONPRO method is a performance scan in which we scrutinise the furniture as well as the required work processes and technology. The scan is an essential step for process optimisation and identifying potential security, technical and usage risks. We evaluate the roles and rights structure, security vulnerabilities, security protocols, password policies, network structure, and the functionality of all components.
The scan ensures that the furniture and the Audio Visual solutions are optimally matched. By applying process optimisation, we then know exactly the quantity and dimensions of the monitors, the size of the operator workstation, whether a video wall is required and which software and equipment best support the work processes.
The outcome is a well thought-out and total concept with innovative solutions, allowing an operator to perform to the maximum, but above all to work pleasantly and ergonomically.
In addition to furniture, ambience and lighting are also important items in the creation of the design plan. We approach both from a medical perspective; feeling and health. We look at acoustics, climate management and the proper light balance in the room. For the latter, we apply special stimulating Led luminaires that mimic a daylight cycle during a work shift, supporting the operator's biorhythm for optimal performance during evening and night shifts. This form of light therapy has been medically proven to prevent fatigue.
Two design variants emerge from the CONPRO method. During a session, together with your team of stakeholders, we assess both variants and see which variant better suits your specific situation for each requirement set. This way, we strategically make choices that result in one best-fit design plan that is further developed into a Definitive Functional Design (DFD) and thus forms the basis for further engineering and realisation. A feasible cost indication can be drawn up from this.
