The Europees Massagoed- Overslagbedrijf BV, EMO for short, is the largest terminal for coal and iron ore in Europe. The largest seafaring vessels from around the world moor at the EMO quay. The vessels are quickly and carefully unloaded with the state-of-the-art terminal system. The load is mostly computer-controlled around the terminal for storage, processing or trans-shipment.
Following the performance of our TUNASS® analysis, it appeared that the available space was insufficient for housing all the facilities and unsuitable for future expansion. Our consultant recommended the renovation and transformation of an existing warehouse to create a suitable and pleasant working environment, housing both the control room (light watch) and back-office spaces.
