Introducing our new team member Berry Berents

A new colleague has come to strengthen our team. Or more accurately: a familiar face. Berry Berents is a keen 35-year-old go-getter, who also worked for the company 12 years ago. Then as a furniture maker and assembly worker, now as project leader for both national and international projects.

Berry joined us on 1 September, so it’s already been a few weeks. What does he enjoy most? Berry: “I particularly like the good atmosphere in the team, the professional approach and the varied work as project leader. But customer contacts and translating wishes into appropriate (customised) solutions are also interesting and informative.”

Whether he’s involved in measuring, helping design 24/7 customised furniture or starting up an assembly: Berry is the linchpin in managing turnkey projects, both internally and on site. “It’s a tremendous challenge to initiate a complete metamorphosis and create a safe and pleasant space from an empty shell or a dated control room.”

The small scale of the organisation is also an advantage, says Berry: “It promotes contact with colleagues and ensures that you’re given more responsibility. That means you’re involved from A to Z in new orders and current projects at home and abroad.”
